Description
The Editorial Comment – The Governor’s Solution to Our Economic Ills shows a satirical single panel comic of two men talking about Governor Manuel F.L. Guerrero and how he plans to solve the islands’ economic issues of the time. One man says that the Governor has a pamphlet of solutions, that reads ‘Facts About Doing Business on Guam – Trinkets, Money, Land, Tax Exempt’ and ‘Free’, which the Governor is reading. The other man responds with saying that the Governor is terrific: Governor Guerrero is selling the land hard and compares his methods to Manhattan Island and the Indians and their respective situations
