Description

An article from one of the staff members of Guam Times Weekly. On the staff members way to Umatac, they heard a sound in which drew them into the Agat Junior High School – the visual displays and audio tunes of the students as they performed Sigmund Romberg’s ‘The Desert Song.’ The children, directed by G.L. Wagner and R.G. Beckett had, in the author’s words, done much more better than a production done by adults, i.e. The Guam Theatre Guild. The author does admit that the children has their shortcomings in terms of performance, however, everything from set design to individual and group quality of the play more than made for it. At the author’s behest, reader’s are encouraged to watch this weekend’s showings
