The Personality of this week is Ciriaco Z. Cuenco, credit manager of the Pacific Construction Company, Inc. Cuenco was born in Santa Rita, Pampanga, Philippines, attended the Pampanga Trade School, Gregg Business College, Hamilton Institute and ICS. Cuenco married Macaria Serrano Cuenco and they have six sons and two daughters. Cuenco worked with hotels in Manila and Baguio, became the manager of Hotel Pines in Baguio, and met General and Mrs. Douglas MacArthur there. Cuenco was also associated with the Philippine Government Service, along with managerial positions with U.S. Armed Forces. Cuenco served as an intelligence officer with the Luzon Guerrilla Army Forces from 1942 to Liberation at the rank of captain. Cuenco is a life member of the Masons, part of the Scottish and York Rites, Toastmasters, Guam Lions Club, the Filipino Community of Guam, and the Char-Marv Hi-Twelve Club. Cuenco’s hobbies include bowling, baseball and swimming
