Description
Admiral Thomas A. Christopher and his wife, Mrs. Christopher, welcomed officers, members, and the crew of the Republic of the Philippines ship, Bohol, for a reception at the home in Nimitz Hill. The RPS Bohol has been at the Ship Repair Facility for a while now, undergoing repairs, as part of the Philippine-American Defense Aid Agreement. Guests of this reception included Philippine Consul General and Mrs. Policronio de Venecia, Captain and Mrs. Bragg from Naval Station, and Mrs. Walter Marshall of the Ship Repair Facility, Lt. Robol, Charlie Corn, Mrs. Edwina C. Jose, Lt. Mariano D. Morales from the RPS Bohol, and Lt. Exequiel Canto from the RPS Batangas. Lt. Morales and Lt. Exequiel presented Admiral Christopher and Captain Marshall with hand woven fiber mats, with the sigils of ComNavMar and SRF.
