The Guam Recorder n.s. (New Series) is the revival of the Guam Recorder publications originally published prior to World War II. The Guam Recorder was first published in 1924 under a private enterprise until it was purchased in 1933 by the Naval Government of Guam. The new series was under the publication of the University of Guam's Micronesian Area Research Center from 1971-1979. Editor Paul Carano, associate editors, Marjorie Driver and Emilie Johnston, and staff members offer scientific, cultural, and historical articles and documents regarding Guam and Micronesia.
