On Friday, March 27th, 1964, 114 men, women and children were naturalized and became U.S. citizens. The naturalization ceremony was held at the Naval Hospital Auditorium - presiding officials were Federal Judge Paul D. Shriver, Immigration Officer Alex Elias, and Island Court Judge Joaquin Perez. The next naturalization hearings will be on May 29th and August 27th of this year, with the final process held after elections. The new Americans were from Germany, Canada, Republic of China, Great Britain, Japan, the Trust Territory, Mexico, and the Philippines
