Description

Xanadu is reborn in the 1981 edition (now renamed as Xanadu II). Xanadu II is a glimpse into the melting pot that is Guam's culture in 1981. There are more locally written pieces with strong local cultural themes (Pinitin Un Chamorro) and music and legends from other parts of the Micronesian area (Some Trukese Love Songs and The Legend of a Sleeping Lady in Kosrae). More scholarly disciplines are also celebrated in Xanadu II, as not only poetry and prose introduced by also plays, songs, research papers, and non-fiction creative essays are featured.
