Description
Adriano B. Pangelinan, an art student at the College of Guam, received recognition for his pieces submitted for showcase at the recent Andersen Art Show. The painting in question is a water color of a group of shells and took first place in the College of Guam category. Said painting was supposedly bought by Governor Manuel F.L. Guerrero and was given as a gift to the city of El Paso, Texas, on one of the Governor’s trips. Pangelinan was born on the island and attended the George Washington High School, after which he attended the College of Guam where he achieved an Associate in Arts Degree. From there, Pangelinan went to the University of the Philippines under a grant from the Hay Whitney Foundation. Pangelinan is married to Patricia Berosel, daughter to Professor and Mrs. Dionisio Berosel from the University of the Philippines. Together he and Patricia have a son, Adriano II
