Description
WHILE WE’RE ON THE SUBJECT – Strange things happened underwater to create the island of Guam, as Author Paul B. Souder explains in his article on page 18. And as demonstrated here, weird tings happen to islands after they’ve been formed. This coral formation, when raised above the sea during one of Guam’s upheavals, weathered unevenly. Some materials which had been built into the coral were completely washed away, leaving this stone lace. Picture was taken at Asanite Bay near Talofofo Bay by B.C. Stone
