Remember When?
Title
Remember When?
Subject
Remember When, Malcolm Merrill, United States Post Office, Quonset, Agana, Marianas Islands, Saylor Street, ruins
Description
Remember when the United States Post Office on Guam was located in this quonset – and the designation for the post office, instead of ‘Guam Mariana Islands,’ or ‘Agana, Guam’ was ‘Guam, Guam.’ ‘Old Timers’ recall that the building, situated approximately where the present post office is, was actually so far west that there was no Saylor Street. Ruins at right of photo are remains of pre-war post office. – (Photo by Malcome Merrill)
