Description
Visiting Guam last week as a good will mission from Japan was the Nishikawa Dance Troupe who brought to island audiences the quiet beauty and traditional elegance of Kabuki - ancient Japanese theatre form. The troupe came at the invitation of the Air Force, which in turn, invited several local audiences to watch the dancers. Although true Kabuki theatre consists of men actors only who masquerade as women when necessary, the Nishikawa group included only one man among its members.
